As we enter in to the holiday season, it is easy to be thankful for the many blessings in our lives: our health, our family, and good friends. But for thousands of people right here in Jacksonville, this holiday season will be like many before: spent alone with little to be thankful. That’s why churches throughout Jacksonville are coming together to introduce a new vision that God has laid on their hearts, the #OneCity movement. The heart of #OneCity is to see churches and businesses come together to encourage every member of our community.

The first event held as a part of #OneCity is the Community Thanksgiving Meal. This community outreach will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 4 to 7pm at the Jacksonville Lighthouse Charter School Cafeteria.

Our goal is to feed 2,000 people in our community who otherwise would not have a traditional Thanksgiving meal.

If you are interested in becoming a partner and donating financial resources. Please fill out the form and return it to Second Baptist Church.
