What a wonderful feeling it is to know that God loves us and that there is a place we can go to worship and fellowship with other
believers. The Adult Ministry of Second Baptist Church provides people in similar “life stages” the opportunity to join together in Christ.
It is the goal of Second Baptist Church to lead individuals to have a closer personal relationship with Jesus Christ, their family and
church. We provide many opportunities for adults to be involved both as couples and as individuals.
Sunday Morning Bible Study
Sunday Morning Bible Study provides the basis for our Adult Ministry. It is the time where people come together to study the
Word of God and minister to each other in a smaller group setting. We have classes for all ages and "life stages." However,
our ministry extends well beyond the time we spend together on Sunday mornings. There are opportunities for small groups
to meet, for friendships to grow, and for life’s challenges to be faced together.

Divorce Care is a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are separated or divorced. Divorce Care uses a
video driven format to provide a place where you can be around people who understand what you are feeling. It's a place where
you can hear valuable information about ways to heal from the hurt of divorce.
Everyone is invited - the group can be joined
anytime throughout the year.
Meets Wednesday's at 6:15 PM.
